The thing is that I installed Oracle Database Server in Linux and Oracle Database Client in Windows XP. In order for Oracle Database Client login into Oracle Database Server, the 2 Guest OSes Linux and Win XP need to communicate with each other.
I install VMplayer3 in Host Windows 7. I need to use "Bridged" option to set up the network. If leave VMnet1 (host-only) and VMnet8 (NAT) as default, how to assign statis IP address to Host Windows 7 ? what value ?
Host Windows 7 Default gateway is 192.168.196.2. Do you mean both Guest OSes default gateway should be the same (192.168.196.2) ?
